Description: Drive through sand hill country towards Kings Canyon , stopping for breakfast at Kings Creek Station (own expense) along the way. Continue on to Watarrka National Park where you can make the rocky climb with your Guide to the rim of Kings Canyon to be rewarded with marvellous views. The climb may take up to 3 hours and is for those with a good level of fitness. Alternatively, you may wish to explore the boulder-strewn canyon floor, an easier walk. After lunch (own expense) we make our way back to Ayers Rock.

Description: This tour is designed to arrive back to Ayres Rock Resort approximately half an hour before the Sounds of Silence dinner, so that there is time for those booked on the dinner to freshen up. The tour departs early afternoon for the domes of Kata-Tjuta (the Olgas). As you arrive at Walpa Gorge (Olga Gorge) your guide will describe the geology of the area and how it has evolved over millions of years. As you walk through the Gorge learn how the Aboriginal people used the plants of the area in their daily life. Small group touring with a knowledgeable and sympathetic guide is the best way to appreciate this World Heritage area.

Description: The Kata Tjuta and Dunes tour introduces you to the Central Australian arid desert. Leaving mid-aftenoon, our guide will explain the nature of the desert and it's development. A short walk to the dune lookout puts one in touch with your environment and lets you delight in the spectacular panoramic view of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) - a very sacred place to the Aboriginal people. Arriving at Walpa Gorge (Olga Gorge) we walk into this mystic place, to hear how it has evolved over millions of years. The scale of the walls and the wind far above, add a sense of mystery here, which profoundly affects all that participate. The sky blue deepens and the great domes of Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) flush red as the tour retires to the sunset viewing area to celebrate the fantastic colour changes wrought by the sunset with the complimentary champagne. Description: Mount Conner, the third of the great monoliths, is 100kms east of Uluru and on the western fringe of the vast cattle station, Curtin Springs. As the tour follows the 4WD tracks, you will discover salt lakes which are remnants of ancient inland oceans, examine fossilised remains of the oldest life forms on earth, but best of all, experience Australia's rugged outback. This tour provides a fantastic opportunity to see native animals in the wild and there are spectacular lookouts along the way. With the imposing Mount Conner changing colour in the background, we toast the sunset with complimentary champagne and wonder how lonely yet splendid, it would have been to live in such a place that seems like the loneliest place in the world. Hightlights: Mutitjulu Walk - Sunset at Uluru (Ayers Rock)

Description: Travel to the Mutitjulu Walk where you will be escorted to the beautiful Mutitjulu Waterhole by your local Driver/Guide. View Aboriginal rock paintings and learn about the Aboriginal and European history of Uluru. Travel around the base of Uluru in the comfort of the coach as your Driver/Guide provides commentary about the numerous sacred areas and features to be found at Uluru. Visit the Uluru – Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, where you can learn about Aboriginal culture and Tjukurpa (Aboriginal law). There is also the opportunity to purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts. Travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine as the sun sinks over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour that Uluru is famous for.
